The project conducted a training on cassava value chain which started on the 17th feb 2019 and ended on 22nd feb 2019 through its coordinators Prof. Agnes Mwang'ombe and Dr. dora Kilalo. This workshop had two groups involved namely; farmers and TVET Students from Taita Taveta County. The training covered different topics on how to make a clean cassava, from procedures of preparing own tissue culture Cassava, Hardening of Cultures, Multiplication of Cassava seedlings, Cultivating Cassava as a crop, Value addition on cassava and marketing cassava products. The trainees ihad an amaizing experience through learning and touring different Collage labs and field at the University of Nairobi- Collage of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences. Through This Training the trainees acured great knowledge and skills and promised to go utilize it practically when they go back to there different homes.
